Congratulations to 4th Belper for winning the Belper District Scout Incident Hike. 1st Alton Manor (Bradelei) came 2nd with 1st Openwoodgate C taking 3rd place.

Richard's run for Belper Scout hut funds
Huge congratulations to Richard Henshaw, assistant Scout leader at 1st Alton Manor group, for successfully completing the London Marathon. Richard was running to raise funds for 1st Alton Manor's new Scout HQ on Gregory's Way, Belper.

Hundreds turn out for parade in Belper
Scouts, Cubs and Beavers and Guides flooded the streets of Belper to take part in the town's annual St George's Day parade at the weekend.
The sun shone down as more than 650 youngsters took part in services at St Peter's Church, on Chesterfield Road, and the Central Methodist Church, on Chapel Street, before joining together to parade down King Street and Bridge Street to Derwent Street.
Both church services, which were split by age. were organised by the 1st Holbrook Scouts on the theme of St George.

1st Horsley & Kilbrun win District Scout Quiz
Congratulations to 1st Horsley & Kilburn for winning the Belper District Scout Quiz with 52 points. 1st Belper came 2nd on 49 points with 1st Duffield Friday Troop taking 3rd place with 48 points.
