Alton Towers Camp 2007
First of all I'll point out that this camp was originally cancelled at the near to the booking deadline (less than a week to be precise), but luckily the event was saved thanks to Phoenix Network. So knowing that this event was going to happen afterall several Network members from Derbyshire were happy, and both myself and Josh wanted to go, so we did.
The camp had the usual discos on both nights, the Alton Towers trip on the Sturday, and the fancy dress on the Saturday night.
Rides that Genus went on at Alton Towers included Air, Nemisis, Duel, Oblivion, Rita, Hex, and Spinball Wizzard.
The Saturday Night started off with us desending on Heather Lodge to watch the England v France rugby match before the Saturday night fancy dress madness, except that we from Genus didn't do the fancy dress as we wern't that well due to tiredness.
It was a great weekend though and would like to thank Phoenix Network for organising the camp.
