Centenary 2007

2007 marked the Centenary of Scouting, and Genus Network wanted to make it a year to remember. We planned to use the centenary to get out and about more, and boost our profile as a Local Network in Derbyshire.

- Attended the St George's Alton Towers event
- Participated in the Belper District St George's Day parade at Belper
- Taken part and helped out at the Spring Bank Camp at Drum Hill

2007 was a good year for Genus Network, especially as we have been able to get more out of Network than we have done in previous years, thanks mainly to doing plenty of joint activities with other Networks. Let's hope for more of the same in 2008.
